Hi Vicky,

Since the early 1990's Joyce F Hawkins, published at irregular intervals a
booklet entitled Featherston Findings- now totalling 20 issues. Lots of
Featherston(e) researchers sent Joyce information on their Featherston(e)
lines- In time Joyce began to link lines together, with common ancestors, To
identify these different lines Joyce allocated numbers to them. Two years
ago Joyce joined together with a One Named Society started in England for
Featherstone and variants. She now publishes her work in their quarterly
publication. To see what branches still exist as some have been merged as
other links have been found, go to either of our web sites, and search for
USA branches.

We have an example just loaded this weekend of Volume 6 of Featherstone
Findings on our main web site at http://www.featherstone-society.com search
for Featherston Findings, you should find it on the "research" navigation
bar.

Hi,

I am new to this list and am also a descendant of Charles Featherstone and
Rebecca Stratton thru Mary Ann Featherstone and Charles Christian Cogbill.
What I want to know is what does Branch #3 mean.

Vickie
