Thanks for your interest. I can't see any connection right now, but I will
keep your letter on file for future reference, in case I run across those
names. Of course, the ones I'm looking for are James Featherstone and his
unknown wife. If I can only find the marriage record for Thomas Hotchkiss
and Sarah Featherstone, it might give more details, including the mother's
name. Unfortunately, their marriage took place 6 years before the Province
of Ontario began keeping central records. My hope is to find a church record
of the marriage somehow. That will be one of my research trips this summer,
if I can ever find the time to break away.
