Tbanks everyone for your spooky e-mails on the Featherstone Castle.
Paul gave me the telephone number and suggested that I stay in
Haltwhistle as the castle caters to large groups. This was confirmed by
the caretaker Mr. John Rutherford. They have groups of 20-30 people or
more from churchs and schools. I said perhaps members of the
Featherstone Society could stay there if there is a reunion. He did
indicate however, that he would show us around when we are in England so
that was nice of him and we are looking forward to doing this.
