Surname: Featherstone

I know that my mother was the daughter of O.A. and Mary Lou Featherstone
and that she spent most of growing up years in Murfreesboro, AR. However,
I seem to remember her telling me that she was born in Tennessee. How can
I check on that? She was born June 27, 1906.

Charles Edward Featherston was born 20 Nov 1818 in VA, d. 28 Jul 1892 in
Carroll Co., TN; m. 4 Dec 1852 in Gibson Co., TN to Jane Amanda (or Amanda
Jane) Young - b. 14 Jan 1834 TN, d. Apr 1905 in Carroll Co., TN

Oscar Alexander Featherston was married to Mary Lou Abbot (perhaps she was
nicknamed Ludie or possibly that could have been an error on the part of the
census taker or the census reader). If memory serves correctly (and I don't
have time to locate the info at this moment), Alfred moved to the
Murfreesboro, AR area and perhaps so did his father O.A.) Somewhere in my
files I have info compiled by Alfred (an attorney in AR) and I also recall a
mention of a Portia in his document.

Charles Edward Featherston was a son of Edward, son of Henry, Sr., son of
Charles, son of Henry Charles, son of Charles (d. ca. 1682 in Henrico Co.,
VA) - USA Branch #3.
