Hi,

Robert Featherston was married 4 Jan 1809 in Charlotte Co., VA to Martha
Russell.
Robert was a son of Carolus Featherston and Carolus 1st wife, Gilly Brumfield.

It is believed that this Robert is the same as the one in 1830 Williamson
Co., TN Census:
Robert Featherston, 1 male 40-50, 2 females 5-10, 3 females 10-15, 2 females
15-20, 1 female 40-50

The 1850 Williamson Co., TN Census shows:
R. Fetherston, male, age 66, b. VA
N. Fetherston, female, age 30, b. TN
A. Fetherston, female, age 28, b. TN
J. Hazelwood, male, age 14, b. TN

It would seem likely that some ladies who married in Williamson Co., TN are
daughters of Robert and Martha (Russell) Featherston:
11 Feb 1829. Eliza Ann Featherston and Moses Lillard
7 Oct 1834. Margaret Featherston and Moss Lovet
20 Jan 1836. Gilly Featherston and James Hazelwood
29 Aug 1839. Sally Featherston and William Ray
4 Jul 1843. Julia Farmer Featherstone and Alfred Chrisman.
30 Jan 1845. Martha Featherston and William W. Weatherford.

Robert was a son of Carolus, Carolus was a son of Charles and Jean (Wright)
Featherston - USA Branch #1. Note: Carolus had a brother named Hezikiah.
Could this have been an incentive for Julia Farmer Featherstone Chrisman
naming a son Hezikiah?
