Im not entirely sure how this helps but it may help clarify things!
I was looking to see if Amy Nellie FEATHERSTONE born Ticehurst March 1873
quarter 2b.30 fits in with my lot.
In the 1881 census she is in Cambridge, a step daughter along with sister
May. In the household of William T Palmer, bootmaker.
I would imagine May is Mary Louisa FEATHERSTONE born Ticehurst Dec 1875
quarter 2b.97
