Hi all,

The Hughes/Huggins family is progressing rapidly thanks to an Esther and Dennis Dean in Australia, who have sent me a gedcom file - have found my PAF programme will import it - great.

I now have to tackle June's maternal grandmother Mary Ann Wyatt who was born in Newington Surrey and was married in Newington in 1889 - her father was William Wyatt, who shows up in the IGI as born in 1828 in Newington to an Alfred Wyatt and Jane.

Could someone who has the 1881 census please look up in Newington and see if any of the family were there then - they should be!
If not could you check in Hastings. This would be a great help and save me a half hour drive to Palmerston North, the nearest FHC.
