Subject: [FEATHERSTONE] Parish Records
An entry in the parish records for Enbourne in Berkshire (Nr Newbury) in
1783 reads: -
"On the first day of October 1783 an Act of Parliament took place for
paying three pence on the Registering every Christening, Burial or
marriage."
Could this explain why I can't find some of the entries that I'm looking
for?
