Hi, list members. I did a search for Featherstonhaugh a few days agoand
found this list. I subscribed out of natural instinct.

To introduce myself, my name is Derek Haydn Holmes (known mainly as
Rick). I live in New Zealand having emigrated from London England in
1949.

My maternal grandmother's maiden name was Mary Rebecca FEATHERSTONHAUGH.
Not being an ardent genealogist I have only some records of her and no
certificates. However to my knowledge she was born on 8 December 1873,
in North London, England (Islington?) one of two daughters of George
Alfred Featherstonhaugh and Frances Mary, nee Thomas. I remember my
great grandmother who died in 1935 aged 84.

Is this of any interest to anyone - maybe someone can link up? Who
knows!

I have further family details but will await any response to this before
proceeding further.
