I did transcribe details of seamen on my first ever visit to the PRO- I have
even put them into TMG- will have to dig them out for Publication in the
newsletter- even gave details of their tattoos

On the PRO web site I found details of document BT372/2679/229 which is
Board of Trade Register General of Shipping and Seamen - central Register of
Seaman's Records (Pouches). Wonder if it fits in with any of our seamen
Featherstones from Tunbridge Wells.
