I think you may be referring to Tolna County, Hungary. This is
in the southern part of Hungary today. Martin sounds German.
Hungary had 1,902,000 Germans in 1900 according to the
Historical Atlas of East Central Europe by Paul Robert Magocsi.

Recently I discovered that the family of Nicholas and Margaret MARTIN of
Petlovac (Baranyaszentistvan) in Baranya might be the ancestors of my
Peter MARTIN and family from Mucsi, Tolna.
