FURGIS, Francis Montgomery Co VA 11 10111-12101-01
FURGIS, Samuel Montgomery Co VA 11 00300-00000-00
I believe Francis FURGIS/FERGUS to be my immigrant ancestor who was born
1752, Co Tyrone, IRE.
The census enumeration began August 6, 1810 and listed head of household.
That would mean that both Francis FERGUS and his son Samuel FERGUS were the
head of household. The schedules listed Free White Males by category (Under
10, 10-16, 16-26, 26-45, 45 & Over), Free White Females by category (same as
for males), and Slaves
The following listing is for research purposes only - NOT listed in this
index, only to follow this family in census records.
Francis FERGUS (b. 1752, 58 yrs.)
Mary McCORMICK (wife, b. ?, ? yrs.)
James FERGUS (b. 1783, married 1807, was in OH by this census)
