As list administrator I offer the following: to the person who is
posting a general query and would like to reach as broad an audience as
possible then his or her query should be posted to the FERGUSON-L list.

However, anyone who wishes to limit the audience to a general query to
members of this list should feel free to post such a query. No doubt DNA
related threads will weave in and out of general queries.
