Well Richard, I am now confused as well!

1. In Denise Gorslin's database that you refereed us to, Moses FERGUSON
was b. 23 Dec 1793, Guilford Co., NC, the son of:
John Hammett FERGUSON b. 15 Jan 1755, Culpeper, VA
Phoebe Hill BARROW b. 1755 Brunswick Co., VA

However, in a note on that same page she writes:
"John Ferguson was born January 15, 1755, in York County, Virginia"

2. On the site by Deanna Stewart that I refereed to you, I now see that
she claims Moses was b. Dec 23, 1800 NC; the son of
John FERGUSON b. 1748, York Co., VA
Hannah BARROW b. 1751, Brunswick Co., VA

However, on Rootsweb, Deanna Stewart lists Moses as born 5 Jan 1755, NC
the son of:
John FERGUSON b. 5 Jan 1755, York Co., VA
Phobie Hill BARROW b: 1751 in Brunswick Co., VA

3. In yet another database, that of Sandra Paser, Moses was b. 23 Dec
1793, Rockingham Co., NC the son of:
John FERGUSON b. 5 Jan 1755, Poquoson, York Co., VA
Hannah BARROW b. 1751, Brunswick Co., VA

There appear to be two issues:
One, was John Ferguson born in Culpeper or York?
Two, was Moses born in Guilford or Rockingham?
