Our newest mtDNA participant is Sharon Calabrese who writes:

Rachel Ferguson b. 1/16/1826 PA. D. 8/13/1916 Fellsburg, KS.

She is my GG Grandmother, married to William McClure Reeder, had children:

John Alexander Reeder, Hanna Anna Reeder, Phebe Moriah Reeder, James
Joseph Reeder, Samuel Ferguson Reeder, Thomas William Reeder, Rachel
Eunice Reeder, and Mary Lena Reeder , and Howard Elijah Reeder.
Birthdates, death dates and childrens dates are available, in you want them.

Details: Of particular note, is Samuel Ferguson Reeder, who’s descendant
is Sam Reeder, and is in the Reeder DNA Project and asked me ten years
ago to get this done, but being old, and slow, and being told by Jim
Rader that it was only for the Male Line, It certainly confounded me as
I have no male line.

Another interesting note is that many of my Fergusons are buried at
Wallcutt Legg Cemetery, in Ohio, and I was once contacted via e-mail by
someone at that cemetery asking what relationship my Fergusons were to
them, and I had no idea. My Rachel Ferguson decends from James Ferguson
