All I know is that Robert Ripley found documentation stating that we were the last of the Clan Craigdorrach and presented this documentation to my Great Great Grandfather Volney Wheat Ferguson. Mr. Ripley stated that the documentation proved that we were the rightful heirs to the throne due to a marriage with Annie Laurie. My Great Great Grandfather owned a vast amount of land and refused Mr. Ripley's offer however, he allowed him to publish the marriage of Annie Laurie in his book - Ripley's Believe it or Not. I don't know as much as my father does about this.
