Colin,I just read with great interest your note to
Leah.A Volney ferguson was born to David
Ferguson(1793-1869)in Black River ,Ny.David was my ggg
grandfather a descendant from the house of
Craigdarroch,and by a 2nd marriage had 3 children one
of whom was a Volney born 1868.This is too much of a
coincidence for me to let this go unchellenged. It
would be very interesting to see if Leah and I are
related-her story makes it believable. Can you help
with this one?Volney may have moved to Kentucky in his
youth from NY.On the other hand this may all be
wishful thinking on my part.
