Bob Ferguson has made a donation to our general fund which will fund two
and half of our target lines once suitable candidates are found. This is
particularly timely since Angus has written letters to four Ferguson
residents in Taynuilt and until now I was not sure how to pay for a kit
should he find a willing participant with deep roots in the area. Thank
you Bob!

It was through the general fund that we were able to recruit John
Ferguson to our project. His pedigree has become a benchmark to those in
I1c. John returned the favor by way of a donation in memory of
Ayrshire Fergussons.

Margaret Mabrey made a contribution to upgrade the kit of a Mr. Johnson
of interest to those in the E3b1 group so that they can better explore
the relation between the Ferguson and Johnson of that ilk. This is an
example of how persons who share a lineage with persons already in the
project can help advance their particular line.
