Point well taken! How do I cancel the DeepSNP-R1b and upgrade to the 37 marker test?

Samuel Ferguson was born 23 Mar 1836 and died 31 Jan 1903.

Thanks,

Judy

Hi Judy,
Welcome to the project! I see that you have ordered a DeepSNP-R1b
test. Let me suggest that you cancel that and instead upgrade to 37
markers. With the 12 markers you can bring into the project I can
already assign you to the R1b1: MacWho subgroup and in turn predict
that your DeepSNP-R1b test will yield R1b1c.

The MacWho subgroup is an exciting group and you match 12 of 12
markers with William Peter Fergie, Garry Dean Furry, William Blair
Ferguson and Thomas Gordon Ferguson. The significance of these matches
cannot be assessed with just 12 markers. If you examine the ancestry
of these participants you will see that they all originate from the
area of Kirkintilloch, Scotland. See:
http://users.skynet.be/lancaster/MacWho_results.htm<http://users.skynet.be/lancaster/MacWho_results.htm>;

When do you think your Samel FERGUSON was born in Armagh, Northern
Ireland? I can only guess that it would have been about 1860.

Cheers,
Colin Ferguson
