Results are in for the upgrade to 67 markers for Patsi Ferguson's DNA
donor Douglas Wells Ferguson. He is in Haplogroup: I2b - Clade:
Isles/Sc and matches up to the participants with ancestry tied to
Dromore, county Down, e.g. to Joseph Clarence Ferguson with a genetic
distance of 2 of 67.

On Ancestry.com Peter Ferguson found that James Henry was born 26 Jul
1856 to James Ray FERGUSON and Bridget HEFFENAN or HEFFERAN in New
Orleans, LA. They had two other children: John Walter FERGUSON b. 18
Mar 1858 and William Joseph FERGUSON b. 18 Mar 1858. With that I was
able to find the family in the 1860 census and it indicates that
Patsi's ancestor James FERGUSON was born in "Paisley" which I take to
mean Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. Unfortunately the handwriting
isn't clear but it looks as though James was age 24, 34 or even 54.
