The ancestry.com 1820 Lincoln Co. NC census shows "and", Geo, Jas, Jno and
Thos Furgeson. Can anyone familiar with this group of Furgesons tell me if
they are all related and all from Scotland? I'm still chasing a Furgeson
from Ireland who was the father of my Thomas J. Furgeson b. abt. 1819 in NC.
Have no idea what county.
Also, I have wills of an Andrew and Ellon Furgeson in Alamance Co. NC in
1852. They have a niece, Desdemonia McCully living with them. I believe
this Andrew to be from Ireland based on an 1850 census. Will doesn't
indicate that they had any children, so was a dead end for me at this
point. If it pertains to anyone else's Furgesons, will be glad to share.
