Re: James Beggan/Anne Tierney
Hello again Treacy,
You are to be complimented, because just starting out, you already have a great deal of information about James Beggan/Anne Tierney from original residence to their emigration date and their settlement in the US.
Here is what I have, thanks to some friends and recent correspondence.
Descendants of James Beggan/Anne Tierney

Thomas Beggan (1871) a son of James/Anne Tierney was not brought to the USA with his parents. He was left with his uncle back in Tattycam and about Oct 1901, he married widow Bridget Maguire from Tully, who already had a family. Nora P Beggan married Henry Slowey and had two children before she died. Henry remarried Catherine Ellen Mullan from Omagh and had a family of four.
I have been in contact with a descendant of Philip Augustus Beggan. He was in NJ and now lives out west. You may know who I’m referring to. If not let me know. One other thing – I have been working on the idea that these Bunneil Beggans were related to the Beggans in Coolnasillagh.
If anything above looks to be wrong based on your own information please let me know.
The ‘Plain Text’ format of the above might make some of the above unclear, so if you would like to discuss any details of this off-line, let me know.
James
