Subject: [FHSA] forum message board virus...

A new attack from viruses has a curious origin.
A person is visiting the GenConnect forums and
answering posts with something like this:
Your query about the JOHNSON family, please click
attachment for data.
If you click on it your computer will be infected with a
virus. I just got Card.pif virus from clicking on the
attachment from my Thompson query. I'm lucky
Norton caught it and quarantined it.
I traced the email to an anonymous server. I did file
a complaint with my ISP but that will do little good.
Word to the wise, don't open attachments from message
boards unless you establish email contact before hand.
Pass the word.
