Hi Tom,

My husband and his father were both born in New Orleans.. However the
grandfather who was an ONLY SON, migrated to this country in 1882 from
Contessa Entellina, Sicily..

Our Schiro family left New Orleans and came to Texas about 1913 and left no
family members behind.. So A.C. Schiro must be descended from another
Schiro family that came to New Orleans from Sicily...
