Every day the TV news reminds us of your plight with all the ice and
snow, high fuel bills and assorted miseries. I wish we could "share the
wealth" with you.
Right now in New Orleans the skies are clear and blue, with maybe an
occasional spring shower. The temperature is in the 60s and low 70s.
The city is jampacked with revelers from literally all over the world.
We are winding up to the climax of Mardi Gras next Tuesday. If you've
never experienced it, you really must plan to come some time.
For a glimpse of the festivities see http://www.mardigras.com/ or
there's plenty more on Google.
Regards,
John
New Orleans
