Hi, Cousins,
This request is directed specifically to Jan Williams, who said she
uses Reunion. I, too, have used Macs forever; now have an iMac with
10.3.9. I also bought Reunion. But then, because we had a genealogy
class in our computer center (I live in a retirement community) on
Family TreeMaker, I stayed out there and used it. Twice, in a little
over two years, I've had corruptions which rendered useless a lot of my
information, and caused me to reenter much. So I'm now thinking of
saving what I can, and bringing it home to use on my own computer and
Reunion.
My questions: What is your reliability experience with Reunion? Is
there any way, short of totally re-keying, that I can get information
from FTM to Reunion? And, overall, would you recommend Reunion?
Thanks so much for your response, and responses from anyone else --
particularly those who might have used both FTM and Reunion.
