I have not seen what is being sent about his mother. Send it to me if you have something. I just don't understand how they were so poor and on food stamps if she was attending a university and they were living in Hawaii.

I have only shared this link with my husband and daughter plus 3 male cousins who were not the least bit pleased that I had dug in so much dirt! ha-ha One told me to just leave it alone. I did tell them that one of my links could break and it's the one that connects us to him. My son, who is a true republican, would be ready to break from the family if we are truly descended from the same ancestors!! Just kidding but he would much rather the link take him to John McCain.

And as you said, we are descendents of that first adventurous couple who certainly made their share of mistakes and had problems raising their two wayward boys.

I'm doing fine other than the sore foot. It is better since I'm not at church so much where I walk around on concrete floors. (Does this mean that I should give up the church!) I have an appointment with my podiatrist next week so hopefully he will think that it's ok to have another steroid shot in my foot. It has been less than 6 months so he might think I shouldn't have one so soon. If that's the case, I'm not sure what I will do. How are you getting along? Well I hope.

I have to go on another buying trip for some things we need at church so I better get out of here. Take care and keep in touch. bj

I ought to have a good answer for this - all I can say is, I'm glad the
relationship is as old as it is! Have you read what's being passed around
about his mama? I haven't check it yet, nor about the grandma.
