Hi BGS!

Guess what I got in the e-mail today. Yep! I received a virus. But,
since I have my Anti-virus program scheduled to update EVERY time I turn on
the computer I didn't get it and it didn't get me.

For more info about the NEW and IMPROVED b a d t r a n s bug go to this
link: http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/ type="text/javascript">DisplayMail('mm.html','w32.badtrans.b');

This is just another reminder how important it is to keep your virus
definitions current. It is now recommended that you UPDATE VIRUS
DEFINITIONS ON A DAILY BASIS. I also have my computer set to do a VIRUS
SCAN EVERY DAY at 6:30 PM. And I SCAN EVERY SINGLE ATTACHMENT -- no
matter how much I trust the sender. Just because an email says it is from
Betty Eichhorn or Frank Bryan or even Patrice Green, doesn't mean it really
is. You can't rely on the sender to be accurate or the Subject to warn you.

This is just the beginning of a whole new breed of polymorphic viruses that
will be coming our way in the next 6 - 12 months.

In the meantime, let's be careful out there -- very, very careful.

,
Patrice
