Stephanie,

Hi! I'm glad u posted your surnames u r working on. I was wondering abt your Crews line and if you might be able to help me with my search. I'm looking for info on a Jane Rebecca Crews, b. abt 1801 in SC, she married John R. Nettles, b. 1794 in Charleston, SC. I've located 6 children for them so far:

1. Benjamin Wade Nettles, b.10 Jul 1836 in Beaufort, SC who married Jane Deese, b. 1853 in Union Co., FL (this is my main line)

2. Alexander Nathaniel Nettles, b. 19 Feb 1838, SC, m. Mary Ann ? in abt 1859.

3. Samuel Perry Nettles, b. 27 Apr 1829, SC, m. Elizabeth Davidson 1851 Coffee Co., GA. She was b. 27 May 1831 in Montgomery Co., AL.

4. Susan Catherine Nettles, b. abt 1825, SC m. Mitchell Tanner, b. 1826 in Coffee Co., GA

5. Rebecca Nettles, b. 1841, SC who I believe m. an unknown Tanner.

6. Margaret Nettles, b. 1843, SC

Bejamin W., Alexander and Samuel P. all served in the Civil War, 50th Calvary, GA.

I have a bit on the Nettles & Tanners but Jane Rebecca Crews is my brick wall right now. In the 1880 Baker County census she is listed with her husband John and children as Rebecca Nettles.

I'd appreciate any and all help and would love to chat and share with anyone interested in these families.

Good jourrney to all!

Blessed be,

Naomi
