Hi...
I wanted to repost my connection to the Hodges Family.....so here it is:
Also seeking any descendants and relatives of the Hodges family
connected to the following:

William Henry Hodges who married Ann Blitch and they had 6
children(James, Cynthia, Elizabeth, William Riley, Samuel and Willis
Aaron Hodges).
I am the great great granddaughter of Willis Aaron Hodges who was the
6th child of William and Ann. William also married Hannah Colson and
they had 4 children(Seaborn, Samantha, Irwin and Phillip).
Willis Aaron married Mehalia Johns (the daughter of George Johns Jr and
Anna) and they had 15 children. They are: (Their children were: Anna,
George Washington, William J., Elihu, Willis Alexander, John "DOC",
James B., Senova, Andrew Jackson, Daniel, Nathaniel, Emily, (Joshua)m
Mary E., and Martha).
Willis also married Basheba Heath Gainey and they had 2 children: Joel
Lee and Grover Cleveland.
I am the great granddaughter of Willis' 13th child by Mehalia
Johns...his name was John Joshua Hodges(his name was John Joshua in the
latest 1880 census from familysearch.org.)
John Joshua married Courtney Victoria Crews(the daughter of Archibald
Graham Crews and Honor Civility Bradley) and they had 10 children:
Effie, Oscar, Francis(Frank), Netty, James McDonald, Clifford (My
grandfather), Simmons, Linnie, Lucy and Grady Hodges.
Clifford(22 Feb 1904, 18 Dec 1973) married Allie Hersey(the daughter of
Jacob(Jake) E. Hersey and Margaret Hersey). They had 7
children...Louise, Warren, Linnie, Donnie Lee(my mother), David, Janie
and Idus Clifford.
Donnie Lee (01 Oct 1944) married Carroll Walter McPherson and they had
me, Stephanie Lynn McPherson(Jan 14, 1971) now Grohol...I married Joseph
b. Grohol Jr.

So there it is: my connection to the Hodges family.
