I don't know if you found your info by now since your post was form 2001, but my family did an extensive search on our family (GROOVER) starting with Peter Gruber who came from Austria, he married Maria Mosshammer and they had 2 sons: peter Gruber, Jr. and John Gruber. I have info on the John Gruber line - John (Gruber) Groover and Mary Magdalene Kelcher had 7 children, one of which was Joshua Groover. (the other 6 were John, Solomon, Charles, David, William and Elizabeth) my lineage is from David. You can reach me via email at
