Hi...

I am researching the Johns family and wanted to know if someone else is
too...the family I am researching is William Riley Johns Jr, the son of
William Riley and Sarah Leigh and he married Lenora Senova Hodges (the
daughter of Willis Aaron Hodges). William was born 31 Mar 1850 in
Charlton Co, GA and died sometime before 1900 (he wasn't in the 1900
census and Lenora was widowed), in I believe in Charlton Co, GA. Before
he died, he and his wife, Lenora had 10 Children....born either in
Charlton Co, GA or Nassau Co, Fl....some or most of the children later
married and moved to Bradford Co, FL and then later to Hillsborough Co, FL.
Here is what i have...and if someone has more information on this
family, appreciate any help.....
children:
1.Marietta Johns (sept 1874 GA died before 1910...married Asberry Crews
and had two daughters, Evelina and Rosa.
2. Miles W. Johns (Jan 1876, Nassau Co, FL - Nov 1926 Charlton Co,
GA...married Caroline Raulerson....not sure if they had children..but
from the census, I do know that they adopted Odom Raulerson, apparently
later Caroline's half brother.
3. William Layton Johns (Mar 1878 in Nassau, FL, - Bef 1930)...married
Elizabeth Conner
4. Charles Griffin Johns (Feb 1880 Nassau Co, Fl - Oct 1919 Palm Beach,
FL ) married Lillie Belle Rhoden...they had 9 children and all their
children moved to Hillsborough Co, FL.
5. David B. Johns ( Sept 1882 Bradford Co, FL - Bef 1930) married a
Lizzie....?
6. George Bartley Johns ( Oct 1884 Charlton Co, GA - Apr 1948) married
Winneford Anderson..and they had 11 children...most born in Bradford Co,
FL and some on Charlton Co, GA....and moved to Hillsborough Co, Fl...
7. Leiler Johns (May 1887 - ?)
8. Ernest Coveda Johns (Apr 1889 - Oct 1961) married Mary McCormick
9. Riley Chester Johns (Feb 1891 - Sept 1939 ) married Rosa Craig
10. Purvey Bernard Johns (Feb 1895 - Jun 1867) married Verda Barber.....

So if anyone can help me in my research or maybe a possible
relative...appreciate any help and lets exchange info....thank you....
