Here is some information from my family tree regarding the Ward/Jones children. Hope it helps.

William H. Ward and Rosetta Jones had the following children:

1.Huldah Ward was born May 23, 1833 in Black Creek. She died March 2, 1897 in Starke, Bradford Co., FL. She is buried at Prevatt Cemetery in Starke, FL. (She is my great-great-great grandmother).

A notation is made on the bottom of Huldah's headstone regarding her husband, Valentine Rowell Prevatt (1809 - 1864, Died for the Confederacy). Valentine died as a prisoner of war in 1864. His body is enterred at Fort Delaware.

Huldah married Valentine Rowell Prevatt on April 23, 1843 in Litesville (FL?). Valentine Rowell (parents Thomas Prevatt and Mary Polly Studstill) was born Feb. 10, 1809 in Camden Co., GA. He died July 1, 1864 in Ft. Delware.

Huldah Ward and Valentine Rowell Prevatt had the following children:

a.Paul Bevil Prevatt was born July 12, 1858 in Hampton, Bradford Co., FL. He died May 19, 1942 in Jacksonville, Duval Co., FL.
b.William Thomas Prevatt was born January 19, 1844. He died July 1, 1862 in Chattanooga, TN.
c.James R.K.P. Prevatt was born Feb. 12, 1845. He died Aug. 14, 1865 in Starke, FL. Buried at Prevatt Cemetary in Starke, FL.
d.Joseph R. Prevatt was born October 31, 1846 in Florida?. He died September 25, 1866 in Starke, Bradford Co., FL.
e.Peter Presley Prevatt was born March 16, 1848. He died Sept. 22, 1896 in Bradford Co., FL.
f.George W. Prevatt was born June 21, 1849 in Florida. He died May 26, 1851 in Starke, Bradford Co., FL.
g.John Darling Prevatt was born July 5, 1852. He died May 25, 1881 in Bradford Co., FL. Buried at Prevatt Cemetary in Starke, FL.
h.Emory Duvall Prevatt was born Jun 23, 1855 in Starke, Bradford Co., FL.
i.Valentine Javan Prevatt was born June 16, 1857 in Florida.
j.Idella Jane Prevatt was born Oct. 13, 1861 in Florida.

2.Elizabeth Ward was born April 23, 1828.
Elizabeth married John Haugeic.

3.William H. Ward was born Sept. 26, 1826.

4.John G. Ward was born 1830.

5.Amanda K. Ward was born Sept. 11, 1833.
Amanda K. married Edwin Hodge.

6.Emma Kelsandra Ward was born 1826. She died 1860 in Florida.

Emma Kelsandra married William O'Steen on Abt. 1851 in USA. William was born Abt. 1827 in Georgia.

Emma Kelsandra Ward and William O'Steen had the following children:
1.William Jasper O'Steen was born April 16, 1852. He died Sept. 6, 1914.


7.Richard B. Ward was born 1821.


8.Emra Priest Ward was born May 17, 1836. He died Nov. 10, 1904.

Emra Priest married Margaret Godwin.

Emra Priest Ward and Margaret Godwin had the following children:
a. Rosetta Ward was born 1886 in Brooker, Bradford Co., FL.
