Dear Friends:

There will be an honor guard ceremony at Riverside Cemetery, Marianna, FL on
Saturday, September 22, 2007, at 9 AM CST, at the cemetery. A granite stone
has been placed there to commemorate the Confederate Soldiers buried there.

There will also be an honor guard ceremony at Cow Pen Pond Cemetery, in
northeast Jackson County, FL, on Saturday, September 29, 2007, at 10 AM CST. The
placement of a Confederate Soldiers tombstone will be honored. He is an
ancestor of fellow re-enactor and Jackson County, FL native, Gene Stephens, of
Grand Ridge, FL.

I will be giving all of you specific directions and driving instructions for
both events as soon as I receive them.

If any of you have a portable public address system, please let me know. I
am searching for one that has Confederate Telegraph capabilities, ie.,
Duracell, to use at the cemeteries.

If you can attend one or both of these events, Please contact me and tell me
who you are and how many muskets will be with you. I need at least 7 strong
and healthy soldiers with rounds rolled for the honor guard. There is also
plenty of room for more.
