Your web site indicates that he married "Fannie" Powers cir 1830,
and then Martha Jones cir 1835.

Apparently you did not know that Frances Emily Powers was born in
1842. So, could not have been his bride at the age of 8 in 1830. In
fact, she was his 2nd wife.

Next, I can not seem to find Edmund and Frances in FL in 1870 or
there after. Can you help? I assume that they should be either in
Madison CO, (where Frances was born) or Columbia where her father, John W
Powers, and his family lived. But my research turns up nothing in FL
anywhere.

Do you know anything of the ancestors of Frances Powers? I am
guessing you do not, since your web site has nothing.
