James C Pearce, 2nd LT was James Cain Pearce, my gggrand uncle s/o John
Pearce & Ann Cain
John Pearce, 3nd Sergt was John Jonathan Pearce, my gggrand uncle s/o John
Pearce & Ann Cain, brother to James Cain Pearce
Joseph Mizell, 4th Sergt, married Martha Pearce, my gggrand aunt, d/o John
Pearce & Ann Cain, sister to James Cain &
John Johnathan Pearce

John Hooker, Private, I THINK, was John Irving Hooker, my gggrand uncle,
William B Hooker, Private, was also my gggrand uncle. William & John were
brothers, their were the sons of Stephen Hooker, and their sister Mary Jane
Hooker, was my gggrandmother having married my gggrandfather Levi Pearce,
(See below)

Joshua Mizell, Private was, I THINK, s/o David Mizell & Mary Cornelia Pearce
d/o John Pearce & Ann above, was my 3rd cousin, but this Joshua Mizell could
also be brother to David Mizell, not really sure.
David Mizell, Private, see above

William PIERCE, should be William PEARCE, Private, my gggranduncle, s/o John
Pearce & Ann Cain
Levi Pearce, Private, was my gggrandfather, s/o John Pearce & Ann Cain. In
fact he fought in several of the Seminole Wars and received land from
President Grover Cleveland for his service. I have a copy of the original
document.
