Hello,
I am looking for information on Dr. Luby Stephen Smith. He was married to
Minnie Floy Kreider in Arcadia Nov. 7, 1889. He died July 19, 1904 and is
buried in OakRidge Cemetery. His son, Luby Smith Jr. disappeared while
possibly hitchhiking. A grandson Luby III was killed on the road near St.
Edmund's Episcopal Church in Arcadia. Any information on any of the Lubys
would be very much appreciated. So far, we have found no record of Dr Luby
other than his marriage. No official death record exists. We have not been
able to find any reference to his practice in Arcadia or of his death
(possibly the result of the 1905 fire).
