Subject: Buffington Hotel

Anyone have information on this hotel that was purchased by Samuel
Buffington in the early 1850's only to have it burned to the ground in
abt 1859 and never rebuilt. Information regarding this hotel is somewhat
sketchy in the book about Jacksonville published in 1925 had very small
entry. Any ideas or leads would be very helpful. Thank you for your
