hi Nancy. according to my notes, the Turner
Cemetery is more familiarly known as the Pickett
Cemetery, a/k/a Lem Turner Cemetery, a/k/a Turner
Cemetery. it is located on Calvin Road, just off
Lem Turner Blvd. the burials for the Pickett Cem
are shown on the Duval County Florida page of the
Tombstone Transcription Project. the url for the

the tax roll information shows the cemetery to be
a 1 acre property. in Aug, 2000, when i pulled up
the information and printed it out, the mailing
address for "taxpayer" is: Pickett Cemetry, c/o
J.A. Pickett Estate Heir, mailing address unknown.
however, under "owner", it gives: Kelly E.
Scofield, 1221 N. Halifax Ave, Daytona Beach, Fl.
32118.

grandfather was buried there in 1909. Is it still
open? Does anyone know how I can obtain any
