Several months ago, I read a posting that there was a REQUIREMENT FOR
PASSPORT when
traveling thru Georgia. (at least the direct route from North Carolina
to Clay Co., Fl)

Question, Could someone tell me if this was required between 1855 and
1861?
If so, is there an online access to this info or where
I could get the
info
