More than half the stories needed have been received. Don't be left
out. Please submit by Oct. 31.

Who will write the story, if not you? Current and former residents
and those with ancestral roots in Escambia Co. FL are elligible.
Tell about when and why your family came to this area, where they
lived, what they did for a living, any special hobbies, talents or
characteristics, church, military service, where the family originated
or lived before Escambia Co., physical description, demeanor,
influence on your life--anything you would like passed on to future
generations.

Stories may be 500 words and one photo for those later than 1890 and
1,000 words and two photos for those families earlier than 1890. The
results will be a beautiful, coffee table sized book, hardbound,
embossed in gold. There is no obligation to purchase a book, but the
presale cost is $50, plus $3.75 tax for FL residents and $5.00 if you
want it mailed to you.

This album of precious memories will be a legacy for unborn
generations, a treasure trove for genealogists, a storehouse of family
heirloom pictures and nostalgic reading for all.
