Thank you so much for offering this photo of John W.
Johnson and wife. I am very good at touching up
photos with PhotoShop, so don't worry about the spec
on grandma's face. If you will scan it once at 75 dpi
and once at 300 dpi and save both as .jpg files, that
would be wonderful. Just e-mail them to me.

If you have any idea where their homestead was, and
the names of their children, possibly birth and death
dates of their children, and names of spouses of their
children, send that information, too.

I had not planned to put the source with every photo,
because I have so many people who don't want their
cousins to know they ended up with the family
photos--they don't want to be besieged with requests
to borrow the photos and don't want to have to go copy
them for their cousins. I had planned for people to
request the photos from me and I will send them by
e-mail. After the book is done, I am going to put it
all on a web site and anyone can copy any photo they
want, but that is about 3 years down the road. I am
going to acknowledge contributors all on one or two
pages in the book, but not say specifically what they
provided.

If you especially want your name beside your
contribution, I will be glad to document it that way.
