Hello from Port St. Joe, Fla........
My name is Beverly M. Douds, President of the Gulf County Genealogical Society.
We came through Hurricane Ivan fine, winds were bad for a while, but so far not much damage.
I am like Cliff, i could not got to a shelter with my dog, Zina. So we stayed home.
I live just four blocks of Hwy 98 in Highlandview, the road partly washed out, which it
always does in any storm, but we manage to keep dry. The power stayed on, but we did lost the cable around 9pm (est) until Thursday am. The winds are now dieing down and little rain here.....we were very lucky this time.........hope all is well with you.......
