DOMINICKER SETTLEMENT
I understand that the term "Dominicker" is a derogatory term used by white families to describe peoples of mixed race that resided in this settlement. I only use this term for lack of a better way to explain my area of interest and it is not my intention to insult or offend anyone with ancestors of this settlement, I simply wish to compile a list of surnames and stories from this community.
I respectfully ask if anyone knows the names of any persons from this settlement or any general or specific information on its people to contact me since this settlement was a vital part of all our ancestors surrounding community and I find to be very interesting and noteworthy.
