admire you for taking the high road and preserving one of Marianna's most
recognized icons and I am sorry that the arrangement did not work out completely to
your expectations. Your story telling held me captivated until I read the whole
web site. It would be nice if a sign could be posted with the url near the
Russ home for the thousands who pass by and wonder.

I remember another large old home across Lafayette St. from the Russ home.
Perhaps you have some more stories to tell?

I was born and raised in one of the old homes on N. Green street near the
Dekle homes and you set me wondering what it was like to be able to see all the
way to "the house with the tower where the little girl lived".
