Do you know his wife's maiden name or have the Certificate number for the marriage??
If you do, then on ancestry.com just put either in the search engine for the Florida Marriage collection and the year and it should come up showing both, I know alot of their files in the
Florida Marriage Collection, they have input alot of wrong numbers and I have found that if you can look at the original document that they were working from for the input, you will find the error and can go from there.
