Subject: [FLORANGE] Sanford's Swedes -Carlsson/Andersson etc... Help!!

Hello Fellow Listers.

I am researching my Swedish roots in Seminole County
(formerly Orange County). My Great grandfather was
Charles Gustav Malm (Carlsson),b.Feb 20, 1853 in
Sweden. Married Clara Andersson, b.Sept. 23.1863, in
Forrest City, Florida in 1884.
Clara Andersson's parents were; Eric Andersson, b.
Falun, Sweden, Feb 25, 1845,d. Upsala(New Upsala)
Florida Jan 24, 1909 and Anna Boburg, b. Apr.16,1835
in Bodarne, Sweden, d. July 18, 1917 in Orlando,
Orange County, Florida.

I am trying to find out the connection to the New
Upsala Swedes and find out why these were in Forrest
City. I can't find them on Gen. Sanford's ship
manifests but I do think they were indentured
servants. Are there any other Swedish or Carlsson
researchers out there?

Thanks soooooooooooo much in advance,

Carl
