Hi everyone,

I tried sending this directly to Christopher several times, but it keeps
bouncing back, so I'll post it to the list. If anyone has connections with
this family, I'd love to hear from you.

Christopher,

Hi! I just visited your page, and was very impressed. I bookmarked it so
that I can return at a later time to see your additions.

I tried emailing you from that page, but the email bounced back to me. I'm
not sure if it makes a difference (it shouldn't), but on your page you use
all small letters in your email address, while the email address in the
header uses caps for your initials. I'm not sure if that is the problem, or
if it is with my Geocities email server.

Anyways, I have a Florida ancestor that I would like to have added to your
Florida surname page. James and Elvey Baldwin were listed in the 1850 Duval
County census. James is considered a pioneer in this area of Florida,
according to several local history books. The Baldwins were from Columbus
County, North Carolina, and came to north Florida in the late 1840's. They
lived in Duval, Clay, and finally Putnam Counties.

Thanks,
Marceline Beem
