Seeking information on the Purcell, Pursell, Percell, etc. family that
lived in Walton Co., Florida from about 1830 until after 1870.
Specifically researching: Neill or Neal Purcell, Jr.(c 1780-after 1840);
Malcolm Purcell (c 1780-after 1850); John Purcell (c 1787 after 1870);
Flora Purcell (c 1791-?); Dougald or Dugald Purcell (c 1793-after 1850);
Sarah Purcell, Jr. (c 1795-after 1850) and Anna Purcell ( living in
1823). All were born in Cumberland County North Carolina and were
probably siblings. Census information on John Purcell (Perscell in 1870
census index) in 1860 and 1870 will be greatly appreciated. Would like
to correspond with any Purcell family members who have connections with
Walton County Florida in the 19th century. Are there cemetery records
available for this county? Thanks for any help offered.
