Hi,
Some may think this a silly question for genealogy but in doing the
research on our family we had a lot of fishermen in the family. I see
in old letters etc. about salting fish down in the crock. This was
mullet. I am wondering if anyone knows the procedure of salting fish
down and how long do they keep ? This was a food source in hard times
but also good eating. Hope someone knows how this was done. Thanks ,
